Have you ever wondered

We've been working with multiple MovieClips for awhile now. Sometimes, we have two or three copies of the SAME MovieClip on the stage at the same time. Think way back to the car project, which had the wheel MovieClip appear twice:

Have you ever wondered: How can the same MovieClip be at one (x,y) position and another (x,y) position at the same time? It's not possible! You can see that it's not.

There must be something else going on behind the scenes... Flash is definitely using something other than the MovieClip Name to keep to track of (x,y) positioning and other properties.
