Adjust Page Margins
In Word 2007, the default Left and Right page margins are one inch, which is exactly what you want. Make sure your page margins haven't changed, though! Use the Page Layout tab to find the Page Setup group and ensure the Margins are set to Normal:
That's it! Save your file as a template to be used over and over again! Your document should look just like this:
